Natterjack Marketing is proud to be participating in the Longest Golf Day challenge, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Trust. We are taking part in a team with Stephen Walton, Director of Jim Walton Penrith Ltd, Kevin, a long standing friend and colleague of the Jim Walton team and Rebecca Pattinson, previous County Champ and all round VERY good golfer! We have come together to raise money for Macmillan in memory of Jim Walton's much-loved employee Stephen Wallace (Wally), who unfortunately passed away from cancer and our friends and family members that have also been affected by cancer.
The Longest Golf Day challenge involves playing four rounds of golf in one day, which equates to a total of 72 holes. Our friends at Silloth On Solway are allowing us the use of their course for the day. It's a grueling challenge, but one that we are all committed to completing to raise money for this important cause. We will walk approximately 25 miles, hit over 300 golf shots, and no doubt listen to ALOT of Stephen Walton talking!
Macmillan Cancer Trust provides vital support to people affected by cancer, including patients, family members, and carers. They offer emotional, practical, and financial support, as well as information and guidance to help people cope with the impact of cancer on their lives. Macmillan's services are free to use and are available to anyone affected by cancer in the UK.
We are asking for your support in our fundraising efforts. You can sponsor us by visiting our fundraising page here.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference to people affected by cancer.
We chose to raise money for Macmillan in memory of Wally, who was a valued member of Jim Walton Penrith Ltd. He was a kind and generous person who was loved by everyone who knew him. We want to do something positive in his memory and raise money for a cause that he would have supported.
By taking part in the Longest Golf Day challenge, we are pushing ourselves to the limit to raise money for Macmillan. We are passionate about supporting this important cause and hope that you will join us in our efforts. Together, we can make a real difference to people affected by cancer. Thank you for your support.
