What is the marketing landscape going to look like next year?

Okay so I covered Christmas last week, and in reality most of us are planning our strategies, goals, targets and identifying opportunities for growth. Bringing your marketing people into these conversations can really accelerate these plans with the strategies we use on the daily. So what are these big shifts?

1. Voice Search > SEO

We're predicting that voice search will eclipse traditional SEO. With AI assistants becoming household staples, brands and companies must optimise their content for natural, conversational queries. No, we're no longer talking just keywords, but actual phrases we’d use when talking to our devices. The convenience and rise of smart speakers will make voice search an indispensable tool for brands.

2. Immersive Marketing

Consumers no longer want to just see or hear about a product—they want to experience it. Virtual and augmented reality will become marketing essentials, creating immersive, experiential campaigns that blend digital storytelling with real-world engagement. Companies that can make their audiences “feel” their product through these mediums will win.

If the thought of posting on LinkedIn makes you roll your eyes or think it’s only a platform for job seekers and recruiters, it’s time to change.

Gary Vee, the king of social trend predictions, has identified LinkedIn as the next big platform for 2025. [He's the guy that called TikTok, while the rest of us thought it was a platform for teenagers to create dance routines!]

Recently, LinkedIn has evolved into a dynamic space where thought leadership, networking, and business development converge. It’s becoming a hub for marketing, community building, and industry insight-sharing, giving users the tools to establish their personal brand.

Those who take time to learn how to leverage the platform’s algorithm by posting relevant, engaging content will see significant results. LinkedIn rewards consistency and authenticity, so being active and creating genuine, value-driven interactions is key.

Artificial Intelligence will dominate marketing strategies, not just for automation but for creative insight. With AI-powered tools, brands can now craft hyper-personalised content in real time, based on consumer behaviour, preferences, and context. This means smarter, more relevant campaigns that drive deeper customer connections.

5̳.̳ The End of an Era

Traditional ads that interrupt the user experience are on their way out. By 2025, brands will have pivoted towards value-driven content, designed to integrate smoothly into the customer journey. Consumers will favour marketing that feels helpful, relevant, and less disruptive provided by the company, or by advocates of their brand creating organic content. The rise of the content creator? We shall see!
